Ahmadou Aminoo Mohammed Lo, Prime Minister of the Republic of Senegal, received a written message from Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God preserve him, concerning bilateral relations between the two countries.

This took place during his reception of His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, at the outset of a working visit by His Excellency to the capital Dakar, where His Excellency delivered the message to him.

During the meeting, His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God preserve him, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the State and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Senegal, along with their wishes for his country and its friendly people for further progress and prosperity.

For his part, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Senegal asked His Excellency to convey his greetings to Their Highnesses, and his wishes to the UAE, its government and people, for further welfare and prosperity. The meeting also addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them across various fields, in addition to reviewing a number of topics of mutual interest and avenues for cooperation and joint action.

Separately, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, President of the Republic of Senegal, received His Excellency Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State. His Excellency conveyed to the President of the Republic of Senegal the greetings of the wise leadership and its wishes for the Republic of Senegal and its friendly people for continued progress and prosperity.

For his part, the President of the Republic of Senegal asked His Excellency to convey his greetings to the wise leadership and his wishes to the United Arab Emirates, its government and people, for further development and growth. The meeting addressed the trajectory of bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Senegal, and the opportunities available to expand cooperation in the economic, trade and investment fields, as well as in renewable energy, food security, artificial intelligence, infrastructure and logistics.
