The UAE Medical Centre, launched by the United Arab Emirates as part of Operation Noble Knight 3, has continued to fulfil its humanitarian and healthcare role in supporting the medical sector in Gaza, providing an integrated model of healthcare that has helped save the lives of thousands of patients and wounded, and alleviate their suffering amid the difficult humanitarian conditions in the territory.
The UAE Medical Centre and its affiliated centres managed during the first half of 2026 to provide treatment to 49,491 Palestinians — an achievement that reflects the scale of the medical and humanitarian efforts being made to deliver urgent healthcare and ensure the continuity of treatment services for the most vulnerable groups, despite the challenges facing the health sector.
These centres have served as a window of hope for thousands of patients and wounded, helping to restore life to the injured and enabling them to complete their recovery journey, return to normal life, and reintegrate into society, after receiving specialised treatment services in accordance with the highest medical standards.
The figures reflect the humanitarian impact achieved by the centres during the first half of the year. In January they received 9,217 patients, while in February they provided treatment services to 7,110 patients, before treating more than 6,661 cases in March.
As medical efforts continued, the number of beneficiaries rose in April to 9,962 patients, while 8,229 patients received treatment services during May. The UAE Medical Centre continued its humanitarian mission in June, providing healthcare to 8,312 cases.
These statistics confirm the continuity and high efficiency of medical service delivery. The centres' efforts were not limited to treating emergency cases; they also encompassed patient follow-up, provision of integrated healthcare, performance of surgical operations, and supply of treatments and medicines — all contributing to improving the quality of life for beneficiaries and enhancing their recovery prospects.
The UAE medical centres are distinguished by their equipment with the latest medical devices and modern technologies, alongside qualified medical personnel comprising a cadre of elite doctors, nurses, and technicians. This has enabled them to carry out numerous surgical operations and precise medical interventions, and to provide advanced diagnostic and treatment services across various specialisations, meeting patients' needs and boosting their chances of recovery.
Operation Noble Knight 3 has sought to expand the reach of health services to the largest possible number of people by opening a number of UAE Medical Centres at strategic locations within Gaza, covering the Mawasi area of Khan Younis, western Gaza City, and the northern part of the territory, ensuring ease of access for patients and the wounded to treatment services and relieving pressure on other health facilities.
These centres continue to provide services on a daily basis, forming an essential pillar in supporting the health system, particularly given the acute shortage of medical resources and the growing numbers of patients and wounded in need of continuous healthcare.
The UAE Medical Centres have also played a pivotal role in relieving the burden on hospitals and health facilities inside the territory by receiving large numbers of patients at a daily average exceeding 270 patients per day, and providing specialised treatment services across various fields — helping to strengthen the health sector's capacity to cope with mounting pressures.
This medical support comes within the framework of the United Arab Emirates' established humanitarian approach, through which Operation Noble Knight 3 continues to implement qualitative initiatives targeting support for the Palestinian people, by providing healthcare, food, and relief assistance, thereby contributing to bolstering their resilience and alleviating their humanitarian suffering.
The UAE Medical Centres embody one of the most prominent humanitarian projects launched under Operation Noble Knight 3. They have not been limited to providing treatment alone; they have become a symbol of hope and a destination for patients seeking healthcare, having succeeded in saving thousands of lives.
They perform specialised medical operations and provide integrated health services using the latest capabilities, continuing their humanitarian mission in serving the Palestinian people and entrenching the values of solidarity and giving that the United Arab Emirates upholds across its various relief and humanitarian initiatives.
