Operation 'Noble Knight 3' continued throughout June to reinforce the United Arab Emirates' model of humanitarian and relief work, through the implementation of a broad series of initiatives and projects aimed at alleviating the suffering of Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip, providing basic necessities for families and displaced persons, supporting the health and education sectors, and strengthening shelter and social welfare programmes.
June's tally reflected the scale of the humanitarian efforts carried out by the operation: 71,746 food parcels were distributed, along with support for 20 bakeries producing 12,800 loaves of bread daily, benefiting approximately 64,000 Palestinians — contributing to food security for affected families.
In the health sector, the UAE Medical Centre continued to provide treatment services, treating 8,412 medical cases, reaffirming the continuity of UAE support for the healthcare system under difficult humanitarian conditions.
The operation also distributed 4,897 health parcels, 3,078 gallons of water, 95,900 water bottles, 24,533 kilograms of dates, 11,564 assorted clothing parcels, and 1,015 tents to shelter affected families.
The operation also responded to 3,567 appeals and humanitarian cases, reflecting the speed of response and flexibility in reaching the most vulnerable groups, thereby enhancing the humanitarian impact of UAE initiatives inside the Strip.
During the first week of June, more than 18,000 food parcels were distributed, along with 870 health parcels and more than 4,000 clothing parcels. The UAE Medical Centre treated 2,034 cases, and 22,930 water bottles, 1,505 gallons of water, 228 tents, and 12,657 kilograms of dates were distributed. Five bakeries producing 4,000 loaves of bread daily — benefiting around 20,000 people — were also supported.
The operation also organised a recreational day for children at Al Aaishiya School in Deir Al Balah, and provided school bags and stationery to students at the 'Scientists Without Borders' school, in addition to delivering food aid to displaced persons in northern Gaza and responding immediately to families who lost their tents due to fires.
Also during the first week, five relief convoys arrived comprising 64 trucks loaded with 786 tonnes of humanitarian aid. The operation launched an initiative to support secondary school students by providing educational points equipped with internet and electricity, enabling them to sit their exams in a suitable environment despite exceptional circumstances. Aid provided by the Saud bin Rashid Al Mualla Foundation was also received, including foodstuffs, infant formula, and various humanitarian supplies.
In the second week, the operation continued to expand its humanitarian programmes, supporting thousands of families with food parcels, clothing, water and tents. It launched the 'Step of Hope' programme, in cooperation with the World Charity Authority, to provide advanced prosthetic limbs and medical rehabilitation services to those injured in the Gaza Strip.
It also continued operating six UAE desalination stations in Egyptian Rafah, with a production capacity of 2 million gallons per day, pumped into southern Gaza via the UAE pipeline, helping to ease the water crisis.
The second week saw five delegation visits and the launch of seven humanitarian initiatives benefiting 5,639 people, support for five bakeries producing 4,000 loaves of bread daily benefiting around 20,000 people, and the distribution of 20,288 food parcels, 436 health parcels, and 4,919 assorted clothing parcels.
A total of 1,443 appeals and humanitarian cases were met, 2,370 cases were treated at the UAE Medical Centre, and 787 gallons of water, 288 tents, 6,085 blankets, 1,323 units of infant formula, 10,372 kilograms of dates, and 44,770 water bottles were distributed. A recreational event was also organised and toys were handed out, bringing joy to children's hearts.
The third week saw the entry of UAE aid convoys carrying 544 tonnes of relief materials, alongside the continued distribution of food, health and clothing parcels, tents and infant formula.
The UAE field hospital also received representatives from the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) to discuss mechanisms for enhancing cooperation and facilitating the delivery of aid, while the UAE floating hospital in Al Arish continued to receive patients arriving from the Gaza Strip for treatment.
According to the 'Noble Knight 3' operation report, the third week saw the implementation of 6 humanitarian initiatives benefiting 9,115 people, the distribution of 35 relief bags, and support for five bakeries producing 4,000 loaves of bread daily benefiting 20,000 people, in addition to the distribution of 17,194 food parcels, 371 health parcels, and 2,000 assorted clothing parcels.
A total of 558 appeals and humanitarian cases were met, 1,870 cases were treated at the UAE Medical Centre, and 409 gallons of water, 276 tents, and 14,100 water bottles were distributed.
During the fourth week, the operation continued its humanitarian programmes, receiving eight delegation visits and implementing nine humanitarian initiatives benefiting 5,500 people, in addition to distributing 57 relief bags and supporting five bakeries producing 800 loaves of bread daily, benefiting around 4,000 people.
The operation also distributed 16,115 food parcels, 3,220 health parcels, and 562 assorted clothing parcels, and responded to 829 appeals and humanitarian cases. The UAE Medical Centre treated 2,138 medical cases, and 377 gallons of water, 1,504 kilograms of dates, 223 tents, 7,777 units of infant formula, and 14,100 water bottles were distributed.
