His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, received yesterday Abdul Hamid Dbeibah, Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity of the brotherly State of Libya, who is on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen them in a manner that serves common interests and benefits both countries and their peoples. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and the Prime Minister of Libya's Government of National Unity also exchanged views on a number of regional issues and developments unfolding across the Middle East, as well as efforts being made to achieve stability and lasting peace in the region for the benefit of all its peoples.
The meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; and His Excellency Sheikh Mohamed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Adviser to the President of the State.
Also present were His Excellency Sheikh Shakhbout bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; His Excellency Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Head of the President's Office for Strategic Affairs and Head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office; and a number of other officials.
