Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, received a phone call from His Excellency Ahmed Al-Sharaa, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, during which they discussed brotherly relations and ways to strengthen various tracks of cooperation and joint work, particularly in the developmental, economic, and investment fields, in a manner that serves the development priorities of both countries and their mutual interests, and brings growth and prosperity to their peoples.

Both sides affirmed during the call their mutual commitment to continuing to advance the trajectory of UAE-Syrian relations to broader horizons, contributing to the realisation of both countries' aspirations for development and prosperity.

The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional issues and topics of mutual concern, foremost among them the developments taking place in the Middle East and the efforts being made to consolidate the foundations of security, stability, and peace in the region for the benefit of all its peoples.
