His Excellency Dr Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the President of the UAE, has affirmed that neither side in Sudan's civil war will emerge victorious, and that there is no alternative to a civilian transition of power.
His Excellency stressed that this option has today become closer than ever before — to stop the bloodshed, preserve the unity of Sudan, close the chapter on the military, militias and the Muslim Brotherhood, and open the door to a civil state and stability.
His Excellency wrote on his official account on the platform X: "Neither side in Sudan's civil war will prevail, and there is no alternative to a civilian transition of power. It appears that this option has today become closer than ever before — to stop the bloodshed, preserve the unity of Sudan, close the chapter on the military, militias and the Muslim Brotherhood, and open the door to a civil state and stability."
