The heads of Sudanese clubs and communities in the United Arab Emirates have affirmed that the humanitarian support provided by the UAE to members of the Sudanese community — both residents and visitors over the past three years — has constituted an exceptional model of human solidarity, praising the warm reception and comprehensive healthcare that Sudanese nationals have received.

They explained that the humanitarian initiatives were not limited to providing treatment for emergency cases, but extended to encompass a comprehensive healthcare system that helped alleviate the suffering of more than 350,000 Sudanese patients and their families. The initiatives reflected the deeply rooted humanitarian approach adopted by the UAE in extending a helping hand to its brothers, with those present stressing that the most distinguishing feature of these initiatives was their inclusion of all members of the Sudanese community without exception — benefiting children, women, the elderly, and young people, alongside patients from all categories, in a clear embodiment of the values of tolerance and human solidarity that characterise Emirati society.

Al-Amin Jaafar, head of the Sudanese community in Dubai, said that community members would never forget the noble stances taken by the UAE since the outbreak of the crisis in Sudan, noting that the health and humanitarian support provided by the UAE had alleviated the suffering of hundreds of thousands of families and given patients a genuine opportunity to complete their treatment in an advanced medical environment.

He added that what community members had witnessed in terms of care and attention — from the moment patients were received through to the completion of all stages of treatment — reflected a high level of professionalism and humanity, affirming that the UAE's initiatives had helped restore hope to many patients who had been facing difficult health and humanitarian circumstances.

For his part, Mohammed Bahaa El-Din, head of the Sudanese community in Abu Dhabi, said: "The community has felt generous care in every detail of life, foremost among which is the comprehensive healthcare that Sudanese nationals received in hospitals across the country." He further explained that the care also extended to the post-treatment phase, with physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation services provided for cases that required them, ensuring the completion of the recovery journey, in addition to the provision of ongoing medications and treatments for patients — reflecting the comprehensiveness of the health and humanitarian system that the UAE has made available to beneficiaries.

Ahmed Hassan, head of the Sudanese Club in Al Ain, affirmed that the healthcare sector in the UAE had presented a comprehensive model of humanitarian response, noting that hospitals had mobilised their medical capabilities to receive patients and provide them with the highest levels of care in accordance with the highest international standards.

He explained that the thousands of surgical operations performed for community members had contributed to saving many lives, while patients suffering from chronic diseases, cancer, and kidney conditions had received specialised treatment programmes — alleviating both their physical and psychological burdens at a time that demanded exceptional support, which the UAE provided to its Sudanese brothers with all love and warmth.

Adviser Murtada Al-Zaylai, deputy head of the Sudanese community in the emirate of Sharjah, said that the UAE's initiatives had gone beyond the concept of conventional treatment to build a comprehensive healthcare system, through which patients were monitored following surgical operations, rehabilitation and physiotherapy services were provided, necessary medications and treatments were dispensed according to the needs of each case, and advanced modern medical devices were made available to assist patients upon their discharge from hospital.

Engineer Awad Rahma, head of the Sudanese Club in Ajman, expressed his profound gratitude and appreciation to the UAE for the continuous health and humanitarian support it had provided, affirming that the initiatives from which community members had benefited represent a global model of humanitarian work grounded in the values of compassion and solidarity.
