Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, sent a condolence cable to his brother Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the brotherly State of Qatar, expressing his sincere condolences and deepest sympathies over the victims of the accident that occurred at a factory in the Ras Laffan Industrial Area, which resulted in a number of deaths and injuries. He wished a speedy recovery to all those injured.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan also made a phone call yesterday to his brother Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, during which he expressed his sincere condolences over the victims of the accident and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. He affirmed the UAE's solidarity with Qatar and its support for the country in the wake of the incident.

For his part, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani expressed his thanks and appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the fraternal feelings of solidarity he showed towards Qatar, affirming the depth of the relations binding the two countries and their brotherly peoples.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, also sent similar condolence cables to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the brotherly State of Qatar.
