Salem Saeed Al Shamsi, the UAE's ambassador to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Cameroon, met with Dr. Joseph Dion Ngute, Prime Minister of Cameroon, in the capital Yaoundé.
Al Shamsi conveyed the greetings of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to Ngute, along with their wishes for the Republic of Cameroon and its friendly people for continued progress and prosperity.
For his part, the Cameroonian Prime Minister asked Al Shamsi to convey his greetings to Their Highnesses and his wishes to the UAE — its leadership, government, and people — for continued development and growth.
During the meeting, Ngute expressed his deep appreciation for the UAE, affirming the depth of the bilateral relationship and its growing development across various fields, as well as his country's commitment to continuing to strengthen ties of cooperation and partnership.
He praised the UAE's leading development achievements in all sectors, noting that it has become a globally emulated model in sustainable development and a leading international economic and commercial hub.
For his part, the ambassador reaffirmed the UAE's commitment to continuing to strengthen its relations with the Republic of Cameroon and to advancing cooperation between the two countries to new horizons, in a manner that serves the common interests of both countries and their friendly peoples.
