The University of Sharjah has announced the allocation of full scholarships for the top 5 students from each secondary school track at the national level for the 2025–2026 academic year, in an initiative that reflects the university's commitment to attracting national talent and nurturing academically outstanding students.

The initiative is being implemented in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, reaffirming the university's approach to supporting academic excellence and motivating students to continue their journey of distinction and creativity across various disciplines.

The scholarships cover full tuition fees for the entire duration of undergraduate study, enabling students to enrol in any of the university's accredited academic programmes. These include specialisations in medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, health sciences, engineering, sciences, business administration, law, communication and media, arts, humanities and social sciences, and sharia, alongside future-oriented fields in information technology such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, robotics, data science, and computer science and engineering.

Professor Essam Eldin Ajami, Chancellor of the university, affirmed that this initiative is part of the university's commitment to supporting high-achieving students and encouraging them to sustain academic excellence, translating its vision of attracting scientific talent capable of contributing to the building of a knowledge economy and serving the community.
