A team of students from Al Zawraa Secondary School — Cycle 3 has succeeded in developing a smart health application called "Teb", winning the title of best idea in the technology category at the 2026 Injaz competition. The app presents an innovative solution aimed at advancing the healthcare system and facilitating access to medical services through an integrated digital platform. The Injaz competition, also known as the "Company Programme", is a leading annual initiative organised by Injaz UAE.
The competition aims to teach entrepreneurship skills to young people and train them to establish and manage their own projects from scratch under the supervision of experts in a real work environment.
The student team comprised Amal Al Abdouli, Maryam Al Olaili, Ibrahim Al Ali, Dana Al Kaabi, Shamma Al Junaibi, and Alhanoof Mohammed bin Madi, who worked on developing the idea and transforming it into a technology project that responds to the needs of the healthcare sector and aligns with the United Arab Emirates' drive towards digital transformation and innovation.
The "Teb" application is a smart digital health platform that connects patients, doctors, hospitals, and pharmacies within a secure and unified electronic system, helping to streamline the patient journey from booking an appointment through to receiving treatment and follow-up medical care.
