Student Shaikha Abdulaziz Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Housni, from the Applied Technology Schools, has achieved a distinguished academic milestone by finishing first in the country in the Applied Technology track (advanced stream) for the 2025–2026 academic year.

This achievement is the fruit of an educational journey marked by ambition and perseverance, during which Shaikha worked to develop her scientific and academic skills, making the most of available learning opportunities in a way that honed her abilities and deepened her passion for learning — affirming that academic excellence rests on continuous effort and determination to reach one's goals.

Shaikha expressed her joy at the achievement, stressing that reaching first place was a clear goal she had set for herself from the very beginning of her studies, and that her constant drive to attain the best results and strengthen her abilities gave her the confidence that she could reach this rank.

She said the moment the result was announced was one of the happiest of her life, as celebrations filled her home, noting that her parents' unwavering support and encouragement were among the most important factors that motivated her to keep striving and exert greater effort to realise her ambitions.

Shaikha revealed her aspiration to continue her higher education at the United Arab Emirates University in Al Ain, having already applied and completed her personal interview, and said she is now awaiting final acceptance to join the College of Medicine.
