The Board of Trustees of Mohamed bin Zayed University for Humanities approved a package of strategic policies and qualitative academic initiatives at its second meeting of the year, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Omar Habtoor Al Derei, setting the university on a new phase of academic and institutional excellence.

The board reviewed the latest developments in academic accreditations and educational programmes, and discussed the agenda of international conferences and scientific forums that the university is preparing to organise and participate in during the coming period. The aim is to strengthen the university's presence in scientific research and knowledge production circles, and to open broader horizons for academic partnerships and the exchange of expertise with scientific and intellectual institutions around the world.

During the meeting, the board adopted a package of strategic decisions, including the approval of a number of new and updated institutional policies to enhance operational efficiency and institutional readiness. It also approved a Religious Studies programme to be implemented in cooperation with Zayed Military University — a step that reinforces the integration of institutional development and academic innovation, supports the building of an educational system that entrenches national identity, promotes intellectual security, and keeps pace with the needs of the future.
