The Ministry of Education has announced the schedule for releasing end-of-year results for the 2025–2026 academic year for students in government and private schools following the Ministry's curriculum. It also revealed details of the approved academic certificates, and the procedures for issuing them across all grade levels.
The Ministry additionally clarified the grading mechanism for Grade 12 certificates, explaining that the final grade point average is based solely on Group A subjects, while Group B subjects are recorded as letter grades without being counted in the total or the average.
The Ministry stated that the results announcement process will begin on Sunday, 12 July, according to a schedule that takes into account the different academic stages, ensuring that students and parents can easily access results through electronic systems.
The Ministry designated 12 July for the announcement of Grade 12 students' results at 10am, while results for students in Grades 9 through 11 will be announced at 12pm on the same day.
The Ministry has also set 13 July 2026 for announcing results for the remaining academic stages: results for Grades 5 through 8 will be announced at exactly 10am, while results for Grades 1 through 4 will be announced at 12pm.
The Ministry confirmed that students and parents will be able to print electronic certificates through the student portal, according to the times specified for each academic stage, from 8pm until midnight following the announcement of results, enabling easy electronic access to certificates.
The release of the schedule comes days before the results are formally approved, as part of the Ministry's preparations to facilitate the process of obtaining results and certificates electronically, enabling students and parents to view results and complete certificate printing procedures with ease, in preparation for the upcoming academic year and university admission procedures for Grade 12 students.
