The Dubai Women's Renaissance Association launched yesterday the new edition of its annual summer programme 'Qayth Al Mahaarat 2026', which returns this year with a refreshed format and a more diverse and innovative schedule, targeting between 50 and 60 girls aged between 7 and 18.

The programme offers a summer journey combining learning, creativity, and entertainment, contributing to the development of life and technical skills while fostering self-confidence and a spirit of initiative. The programme runs until 30 July.

It forms part of the Association's efforts to make productive use of the summer holiday in building girls' capabilities through an interactive educational experience that keeps pace with the demands of the future, giving participants the opportunity to discover their talents and hone their skills in a safe and stimulating environment.

Dr Fatima Al Falasi, Director General of the Dubai Women's Renaissance Association, affirmed that the new edition of 'Qayth Al Mahaarat' represents an extension of the Association's mission to empower girls and prepare a generation equipped with the tools of the future. She noted that the programme has undergone comprehensive development in its content and activities this year, in line with the interests of new generations and the rapidly evolving landscape of knowledge and technology.

She added that the Association views the summer holiday as a genuine opportunity to uncover potential and create inspiring experiences, stressing that the programme contributes to building confident personalities capable of continuous learning and positive participation in society.

For her part, Khawla Al Matrooshi, Director of the Future Generations Events Department at the Dubai Women's Renaissance Association, explained that the programme was designed to meet participants' needs according to their age groups. Participants are divided into two teams: the 'Ideas Team', comprising girls aged 7 to 10, and the 'Opportunities Team', for the age group of 11 to 18, ensuring that training content and activities are suited to the abilities and interests of each group.
