The Ministry of Education has launched the 'Nova' project, a strategic initiative for comprehensive institutional transformation powered by artificial intelligence, in alignment with national directives and the United Arab Emirates' vision to accelerate the adoption of AI across various government sectors, consolidate the country's position as a global hub for innovation and digital transformation, and enhance the future readiness of government institutions.
The project is launched within the framework of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to develop its institutional work system and elevate all operations and services, by leveraging data, modern technologies, and artificial intelligence — in ways that support decision-making quality, raise performance efficiency, and enhance the experience of clients and the educational field.
Her Excellency Sarah bint Yousif Al Amiri, Minister of Education, affirmed that the 'Nova' project embodies the Ministry's commitment to translating the directives of the country's wise leadership towards launching a new phase of government work based on the deployment of Agentic AI technologies and advanced data in the development of institutional performance.
She explained that these directives represent a qualitative leap in the government work model, contributing to the redesign of processes and services, raising performance efficiency, accelerating decision-making, and enhancing the future readiness of government institutions.
Her Excellency noted, in this context, that the 'Nova' project represents a strategic transformation in the Ministry's institutional work model, pointing out that the rapidly accelerating global changes, and the opportunities they present, necessitate building an educational system that is smarter, more flexible and proactive, and capable of keeping pace with future transformations and efficiently responding to the needs of students, teachers, and the educational field.
For his part, Engineer Mohammed Al Qasim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education, affirmed that the 'Nova' project represents a strategic step towards building a more efficient and flexible institutional work model, based on leveraging data and artificial intelligence to develop processes, raise performance quality, accelerate the pace of achievement, and improve the client experience.
