The General Secretariat of the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai organised an educational workshop entitled "Administrative Penalties in Light of the Provisions of Law No. (6) of 2026 on Violations, Penalties, and Administrative Measures in the Emirate of Dubai", as part of its ongoing efforts to promote legal culture and enhance legislative awareness among specialists in government entities, contributing to the unification of legal concepts.

The workshop was presented by Adviser Iyad Tanash, Legal Adviser at the General Secretariat of the Supreme Legislation Committee, in the presence of a number of legal professionals and specialists from government entities in the Emirate of Dubai. He reviewed the legal framework governing violations, penalties, and administrative measures.

He also highlighted the key developments introduced by Law No. (6) of 2026 on Violations, Penalties, and Administrative Measures in the Emirate of Dubai. Dr Ahmed Saeed bin Meshar, Secretary-General of the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai, said:

"This workshop embodies the General Secretariat's commitment to developing awareness of the legislative system in the Emirate of Dubai, and to introducing the latest legislation and the concepts and provisions it contains, in a manner that promotes a sound understanding of legal texts, unifies legal concepts, entrenches a culture of legislative compliance, and contributes to elevating administrative practices within government entities, in support of the emirate's sustainable development objectives."
