The Mohammed bin Rashid Centre for Islamic Culture, affiliated with the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, recorded the conversion to Islam of 5,511 people of various nationalities during the first half of 2026, through its cultural and educational programmes that promote dialogue and civilisational engagement, and introduce the values of Islam based on tolerance, compassion and coexistence.
Jassim Mohammed Al Khazraji, Director of the Centre's administration, affirmed that this achievement reflects the success of the approach adopted by the Centre in building a knowledge and cultural environment that accommodates different nationalities and cultures, through awareness and educational programmes that contribute to promoting a correct understanding of Islamic values and consolidating bridges of communication among members of society.
Al Khazraji explained that the results of the first half of the year confirm the importance of investing in knowledge and dialogue as among the most prominent means of enhancing understanding between communities, noting that the Centre continues to offer an integrated experience combining education, cultural enrichment and follow-up for new Muslims.
The Centre offers a range of educational, cultural and social programmes, including Quran teaching and Arabic language instruction, religious and awareness courses, as well as community gatherings and continuous follow-up programmes, supporting the integration of new Muslims into society and enhancing their knowledge and social stability, in line with Dubai's vision of consolidating the values of tolerance, coexistence and quality of life.
