The Tourist Police Department of the General Department of Criminal Investigations at Dubai Police received 1,839 inquiries and assistance requests from tourists of 118 nationalities during the first half of this year, submitted through five dedicated electronic channels.
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammed Abdulrahman, Director of the Tourist Police Department at the General Department of Criminal Investigations, affirmed the Dubai Police General Command's constant commitment to strengthening communication with visitors arriving in the emirate through electronic and smart channels, in line with the Dubai Government's vision to make Dubai the world's best city for living, working, visiting, and investment.
He noted that the most prominent communication channels provided by the Tourist Police include the "Tourist Support" service available on the latest version of the Dubai Police smart app on iPhone (iOS), Android, and Huawei platforms.
He explained that the second channel is the Dubai Police website at www.dubaipolice.gov.ae, while the third channel consists of Smart Police Stations (SPS).
He confirmed that the fourth channel is the 901 call centre dedicated to non-emergency calls, while the fifth channel is the Tourist Police email at TouristPolice@dubaipolice.gov.ae.
