Dubai Police and Dubai Municipality have discussed ways to strengthen joint cooperation and coordination, including mechanisms for conducting field visits to forensic evidence and criminology laboratories. The aim is to familiarise both parties with the latest practices, examinations, and modern technologies, upgrade the laboratories to the highest international standards, and explore opportunities for cooperation and integration between the two institutions — in ways that enhance the sustainability of work quality, contribute to achieving the strategic goal of "Dubai: A Safe City", and examine innovative solutions that support the development of the work system, elevate institutional performance, and realise mutual interests.
This came during a meeting in which Brigadier Expert First Class Rashid Ahmed Lootah, Director General of the General Department of Forensic Evidence and Criminology, received a delegation from Dubai Municipality headed by Engineer Hind Mahmoud Ahmed, Director of the Dubai Central Laboratory Department. The meeting was attended by Brigadier Expert First Class Khalid Hussein Al Sumaiti, Acting Deputy Director General for Technical Affairs, and Colonel Dr Rashid Hamdan Al Ghafri, Deputy Director General for Administrative Affairs, along with a number of officials from both sides.
Brigadier Rashid Lootah welcomed the visiting delegation, stressing the importance of such coordination meetings between the two entities and the fruitful outcomes they yield that serve the interests of joint work.
Engineer Hind Mahmoud Ahmed affirmed Dubai Municipality's commitment to enhancing institutional integration with various government entities in the emirate through continuous communication and the pursuit of cooperation opportunities.
