Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, attended the graduation ceremony of the fourth cohort of Himaya Schools students for the academic year 2025–2026, comprising 217 students — 116 male and 101 female — held at the Sheikh Maktoum bin Rashid Hall at Dubai Police Academy. The ceremony was attended by Major General Hareb Mohammed Al Shamssi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Sector Affairs, Assistant Commanders-in-Chief, directors of general departments and police stations, a number of officers, parents, and members of the teaching and administrative staff, with a total attendance exceeding 420 people.
Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri congratulated the graduates and their parents on the occasion, wishing them a future full of success and excellence. He affirmed that Himaya Schools embodies one of the distinguished initiatives launched by Dubai Police to entrench employee happiness by providing a comprehensive educational system for their children, in line with the wise leadership's vision of investing in people and preparing generations equipped with knowledge and skills to serve the nation and advance its development journey.
He stressed that Dubai Police regards education as a fundamental pillar in human development, and that Himaya Schools represents an advanced model of integration between the workplace and family, through the provision of quality education that helps ease the burden on employees, raises the level of quality of life and job satisfaction, and strengthens institutional belonging — all of which reflects positively on performance and productivity.
Brigadier Badran Al Shamssi, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Academy and Training Affairs, affirmed that Himaya Schools has, since its launch in 2018, succeeded in cementing its standing as one of the leading initiatives launched by the Dubai Police General Command to support its employees, by providing a modern and integrated educational environment for their children that combines academic excellence, personality development, and the instilling of national values.
The ceremony also featured a speech by the graduates, in which they expressed pride in their achievements.
