A total of 3,532 people have benefited from the Mobile Clinics initiative run by Al Jalila Foundation in 2025, as part of the foundation's efforts to expand access to preventive and therapeutic health services and improve quality of life across all segments of society by bringing primary care and essential screenings directly to beneficiaries' locations.

Al Jalila Foundation, which plays a pivotal role in realising the Dubai Health vision of advancing human wellbeing through integrated pillars of care, learning, discovery and giving, targets multiple community groups to benefit from the initiative.

The initiative provides participants with primary medical services including blood glucose testing, blood pressure measurement, height and weight assessment, body mass index calculation, temperature measurement, pulse rate monitoring, and blood oxygen level readings, alongside additional checks related to overall health evaluation.

The Mobile Clinics' services are not limited to medical screenings; they also encompass awareness of chronic diseases, methods of prevention, and management strategies, supporting early detection and enhancing individuals' awareness of the importance of regular health follow-up — particularly among groups who may delay visiting a doctor or cannot easily access healthcare facilities.

The significance of the initiative is highlighted by cases discovered during routine screenings, as occurred with a man named Khaled, who had been putting off visiting a doctor for years before a Mobile Clinics visit to his residential neighbourhood revealed that he had diabetes at an early stage. The discovery led to his referral to a Dubai Health facility to monitor his condition and begin treatment in a timely manner, as well as the adoption of a more balanced lifestyle, helping him avoid potential health complications. The case reflects the practical role of the Mobile Clinics in reaching individuals within their residential and community environments.

The initiative also uncovers health problems that may not be apparent in their early stages, and encourages beneficiaries to take early steps to protect their health. Should screenings reveal cases requiring urgent medical intervention, the patient is referred to the nearest health centre or hospital affiliated with Dubai Health to complete the necessary treatment. In cases where a beneficiary is unable to bear the financial costs, support can be provided through Al Jalila Foundation's Aaoun programme.
