The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai has announced the launch of the "Ghiras Al Saif 2026" season, organised with the participation of around 1,200 enrolees. The summer programme aims to invest the school holiday in developing knowledge and skills, and reinforcing Islamic values and national identity through an educational and formative environment that combines learning with practical application.
The programme's activities are held across six of the department's centres, including: the Al Mazhar Islamic Cultural Centre, the Umm Al Sheif Islamic Cultural Centre, the Maktoum Quran Memorisation and Sciences Centre in Al Warqa, the Maktoum Quran Memorisation and Sciences Centre in Nad Al Sheba (4), the Nad Al Sheba Women's Centre, and the Hatta Community Centre — providing access to the largest possible segment of beneficiaries across the various areas of the Emirate of Dubai.
The programme offers a diverse range of Quranic activities, cultural programmes, skills workshops, interactive activities, and motivational competitions, contributing to the development of personal and social skills, the honing of talents, and the fostering of a spirit of initiative and teamwork. It also channels the summer holiday into purposeful programmes that enrich participants' knowledge and develop their capabilities.
