The Dubai Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities has celebrated the graduation of the first cohort of its 'Empowering Future Leaders' programme, at a ceremony held at Mohammed bin Rashid School of Government in the presence of Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of the Department, Dr Ali bin Saba' Al Marri, Executive President of the School, a number of officials and strategic partners, and 29 programme graduates.

The programme forms part of the Department's efforts to build a second tier of qualified national leaders, by equipping participants with modern knowledge, leadership skills, and practical tools that enable them to navigate rapid change and anticipate future opportunities, in alignment with the Dubai Government's drive to establish a more agile, innovative, and sustainable government system.

The programme also embodies the Department's commitment to long-term investment in human competencies as the primary driver of institutional excellence, through the design of specialised development pathways that raise leadership readiness, foster a culture of continuous learning, and empower employees to lead quality initiatives and create a lasting institutional impact.

Ahmed Darwish Al Muhairi, Director General of the Dubai Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities, affirmed that the 'Empowering Future Leaders' programme reflects the Department's commitment to sustainable investment in human capital as the primary driver of enduring institutional excellence and lasting societal impact, in order to keep pace with future transformations and support Dubai's competitiveness and global leadership.
