Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence, and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, has affirmed that the march of development is ongoing, project momentum is unceasing, initiatives are constantly renewed, and what lies ahead, God willing, will always be better and brighter for Dubai and its people.
This came during a meeting of the Executive Council of Dubai held yesterday.
In posts on the X platform, His Highness said: "During the Executive Council meeting, we approved a package of qualitative initiatives and projects in Dubai worth 18 billion dirhams. The Council approved the Dubai Culture Strategy 2033, which comprises 40 strategic initiatives."
"We also approved the Dubai Customs Strategy, aimed at cementing Dubai's position as a global trade hub, and approved the Al Khail Road Phase 1 development plan, to implement a new strategic corridor running parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road. It includes the first connected elevated track, stretching 15 kilometres, and will serve 2.6 million residents," he added.
His Highness continued: "The Council also approved the 'Dubai Population Now' initiative for real-time census data, providing live and comprehensive data to support decision-making, as Dubai's population surpassed 4.58 million by the end of 2025. We also approved the Emirati Cadres Strategy in Private Education, aimed at creating opportunities for 3,000 Emirati professionals in the sector by 2033."
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum said: "We also approved the 'Dubai Investor Register' project, which represents an integrated platform for individual investors and institutions in the Emirate of Dubai, including free zones, with the aim of facilitating business operations.
In addition, we approved an innovative visual identity initiative for the emirate's addressing system, and launched a Technology and Innovation Centre in Islamic Finance. Under the leadership of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai has made its name synonymous with ambition and achievement, and the march of development continues, project momentum never stops, initiatives are constantly renewed, and what lies ahead, God willing, will always be better and brighter for Dubai and its people."
