Abdul Wahid Al Rostamani Group has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding in the field of community impact with the Dubai Foundation for Community Contributions – Jood, the official platform for community contributions in Dubai, which was established to enable and regulate community giving within an organised, transparent institutional framework and effective governance.
The partnership brings together Jood's role in enabling and regulating community contributions with the resources, expertise, and capabilities of Abdul Wahid Al Rostamani Group in the area of corporate social responsibility and community engagement.
Through this collaboration, both parties aim to support a more integrated, organised, and effective model for community impact, in alignment with national and local development priorities. Under the agreement, Abdul Wahid Al Rostamani Group and Jood will work to develop and support initiatives that contribute to tangible and sustainable outcomes for communities across Dubai.
Under the agreement, both parties will explore and develop innovative approaches and pilot models for community contributions, and enhance social impact across 5 key pillars:
- Youth development and employment opportunities
- Women's economic empowerment
- Community wellbeing
- Sustainability and environmental responsibility
- Support for community infrastructure
These pillars also support shared priorities reflected in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly quality education, reduced inequalities, responsible consumption and production, and partnerships for the goals.
