Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and General Security in Dubai, has honoured Ali Hassan Al Marzouqi, whose proposal to deploy luxury cars in Dubai Police patrol fleets has achieved remarkable success since its implementation and has become a hallmark that distinguishes Dubai Police from law enforcement institutions around the world.

During a reception held in his office, His Excellency praised Al Marzouqi, affirming that the introduction of luxury vehicles into Dubai Police's patrol fleet had greatly contributed to changing the prevailing perception of the police's security role.

The initiative transformed the force into a community institution that supports the economy and tourism, and aligns with the wise leadership's vision of making the United Arab Emirates a leading global model across various fields, and Dubai in particular a tourist destination that has earned a distinguished international reputation.

Ali Al Marzouqi said the luxury patrol concept stemmed from Dubai's status as a global icon and a desire to turn traffic patrols into a tourist and interactive attraction that draws visitors and appeals to international filmmakers — lending areas an aesthetic that blends beauty with discipline. The initiative has resulted in more than 2 billion views worldwide and attracted the attention of major international networks and channels, including CNN, BBC, Sky News, and Reuters.

Al Marzouqi extended his thanks and appreciation to Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim for his unlimited adoption and support of the idea in a city that represents a fertile environment for every innovator.

Major General Ahmed Atiq Al Maqoodi, Director General of the Office of the Deputy Chief of Police and General Security in Dubai, attended the meeting.
