Dubai Media Academy, part of Dubai Media Incorporated, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University, aimed at enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of education, training, and scientific research, and developing quality programmes and initiatives that contribute to preparing qualified media professionals capable of keeping pace with digital transformations and modern technologies in the media sector.
The MoU, signed by Dr Mansour Al Awar, President of the University, and Mona Bousemra, Director of the Academy, stipulates the strengthening of academic and professional cooperation between the two parties through the development of joint training and educational programmes, the organisation of specialised workshops and seminars, and the exchange of expertise in the fields of digital media, innovation, and artificial intelligence, in addition to supporting joint research and studies in relevant specialisations.
Mansour Al Awar affirmed that this partnership represents a qualitative step towards enhancing integration between education, media, and innovation, contributing to preparing national cadres capable of leading the future of the media sector amid rapidly accelerating digital transformations.
