His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, has affirmed the importance of continuously developing performance and enhancing security and operational readiness, praising the outstanding results achieved by Lhbab Police Station during 2025, during an inspection visit to the station as part of the annual inspection programme of general departments and police stations.
The inspection was attended by Major General Hareb Mohammed Al Shamsi, Deputy Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Sector Affairs; Major General Eid Mohammed Thani Hareb, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Forensic Investigation Affairs; Brigadier Majed Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Department of Police Stations; and his deputy for Bur Dubai stations, Brigadier Rashid Saleh Al Shahi.
Also in attendance were Brigadier Dr. Ibrahim bin Suba', Deputy Director of the General Department of Excellence and Leadership; Brigadier Dr. Mubarak Saeed Binwas Al Ketbi, Director of Lhbab Police Station; Brigadier Ahmed Al Muhairi, Director of the Monitoring and Inspection Department; Lieutenant Colonel Dr. Abdul Razzaq Abdul Rahim, Head of the Inspection Section; and a number of officers.
His Excellency was briefed on the station's performance indicators and operational results for 2025, which showed a 100% achievement rate in known traffic cases, 99.6% in security coverage, and 97% in the motivational index, in addition to 100% in job happiness — reflecting the efficiency of police personnel and the effectiveness of the institutional work system.
The station also recorded a remarkable achievement in the speed of response to very urgent reports, with an average response time of 2 minutes and 35 seconds, surpassing the set target of 2 minutes and 45 seconds, confirming the station's readiness and its swift handling of various reports and incidents.
His Excellency was also briefed on an overview of the Lhbab Police Station's jurisdiction, which extends over an area of 643.9 square kilometres, comprises 6 main jurisdictional zones, and is home to more than 55,000 residents, in addition to a number of vital and strategic locations including governmental, educational, health, security, and service facilities. The station also presented the demographic and geographical characteristics of the area and the efforts made to provide a safe and sustainable environment for residents and visitors.
His Excellency listened to a briefing on the station's organisational structure and the roles of its various departments and sections, which work in an integrated manner to deliver proactive police and security services, enhance response speed to reports, and achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction and happiness.
He was further briefed on the results of criminal registration, traffic registration, general duty, security checkpoints, and transactions received by the station during 2025, in addition to statistics on criminal reports and complaints and the mechanisms for following up and processing them in accordance with best policing practices — enhancing justice and consolidating public confidence in security services — as well as the efforts made to develop work mechanisms and raise operational efficiency.
