The Dubai Judicial Institute has launched the 'Emirati Family Charter' initiative, which aims to transform the concept of 'commitment and contracting' from a formal legal procedure into a social practice that strengthens the cohesion of the Emirati family.
The 'Emirati Family Charter' initiative supports the goals of the National Agenda for Emirati Family Growth, and contributes to consolidating the values of family solidarity as the fundamental pillar for building a cohesive and prosperous society.
The initiative was launched through an introductory video produced in collaboration with Dubai Digital, featuring the 'Virtual Emirati Family' — an AI-powered initiative launched by Dubai Digital to serve as an interactive platform reflecting Emirati society and its future ambitions and aspirations, and to deliver awareness messages to the public in an interactive manner.
The initiative calls on Emirati families to document their positive daily practices and authentic family traditions and share them in a way that reflects the values and principles upon which families are built, contributing to preserving and highlighting them for future generations. The initiative also aims to entrench mutual respect among family members.
The initiative targets all Emirati families, and within its framework the most inspiring and distinguished contributions to documenting family practices will be honoured based on criteria such as depth of meaning, inclusiveness, and authenticity.
