His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai and Chairman of the Federal Police Leadership Council, presided over the council's third meeting of 2026, attended by police commanders, senior officers, and officials from the Ministry of Interior and the general police commands.
The council reviewed a number of presentations, security reports, and policies related to security and operational performance at the national level. It discussed several topics, including the results of the "Police in Your Phone" service — a smart service launched by the Ministry of Interior through its smart application "MOIUAE" — as well as the work of the Permanent Committee for Weapons and Explosives.
The meeting also addressed topics supporting the UAE's directions in the field of artificial intelligence, through the development of an intelligent system that proactively assesses operational risks, contributing to enhanced readiness efficiency and response speed.
