Dubai Digital has launched the first gas consumption billing service on the Dubai Now app, in collaboration with Lootah BC Gas — a new step that strengthens the integration of digital services and expands the unified services ecosystem, enabling customers to manage their daily needs with ease and convenience.
The service allows Lootah BC Gas customers to view and pay their gas bills directly through the app, contributing to a more seamless and efficient digital experience.
Matar Al Humairi, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Digital Authority, said the launch of the service represents a new step in Dubai's ongoing efforts to develop a unified, interconnected digital ecosystem that brings services closer to people and better aligned with their daily lifestyle.
He commended Lootah BC Gas for its partnership and pioneering role in joining the Dubai Now platform as the first company in the gas sector to adopt this integrated digital model. He said the collaboration embodies the importance of public-private partnership in supporting digital transformation, and in building on a reliable, interconnected digital infrastructure that facilitates people's lives and business, and enhances quality of life.
The Dubai Supreme Council of Energy also played an active and effective role in coordinating with gas companies in the emirate. Ahmed Buti Al Muhairbi, Secretary-General, said:
