Dr. Omar Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, Secretary-General of the Federal National Council, honoured Al Bayan newspaper in recognition of its distinguished media role in covering the Council's work, conveying the proceedings of its sessions and discussions with full professionalism, transparency, and accuracy — reflecting the national media's mission to support public awareness and strengthen communication between the Council and society.
The honour was presented during a meeting attended by a number of officials from the Council's General Secretariat, in a gesture reflecting the Council's appreciation for the role the newspaper plays in following its work.
Dr. Omar Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi affirmed that Al Bayan is among the most prominent national media institutions to have accompanied the Council's journey over the years, contributing to conveying session discussions, Council decisions, and recommendations to the public with a high level of professionalism and objectivity.
He noted that professional media coverage represents an essential partner in promoting parliamentary awareness, entrenching a culture of public participation, and informing members of the community about national issues debated by the Council — thereby helping to strengthen channels of communication between the Council and citizens and residents.
