It also reviews the procedures for investigation, detection, and proof of customs crimes, as well as the initiation and expiry of criminal proceedings.
The dissertation aims to highlight the distinct nature of customs crimes and their legal provisions in light of comparative customs legislation.
His Excellency also received from the researcher a book on "Cybercrime and Combating It in UAE and International Legislation," which addresses the concept of cybercrimes and their various forms amid rapid technological development, while outlining their risks and effects on individuals and institutions.
His Excellency expressed his thanks to Dr. Ghanna Al Materi during his reception of her at his office for this valuable gift, commending the subject of her dissertation and its importance, and wishing her every success.
