Dubai Charity Association has launched its summer 2026 campaign under the slogan 'Nasmat Khair' (Breeze of Goodness), in partnership with its strategic partner Dubai Islamic Bank, in a step that embodies the UAE's ongoing humanitarian approach to supporting the most vulnerable groups both inside and outside the country, and to alleviating the living and climatic hardships that intensify during the summer months.
The campaign encompasses a wide package of humanitarian projects and initiatives targeting beneficiaries within the UAE and in 18 countries around the world, through specialised programmes that contribute to improving quality of life and providing basic necessities to low-income groups and those affected by resource scarcity and rising temperatures.
This year's 'Nasmat Khair' campaign comes with a renewed vision and a broader range of community and endowment initiatives, focusing on supporting low-income families by settling electricity and water bills and providing essential household appliances such as air conditioners, refrigerators, and fans, thereby helping to create a more stable living environment during the summer season.
The campaign also pays special attention to workers, through field initiatives that include distributing cold water, juices, and sun protection supplies, as well as placing drinking water coolers in front of homes and villas to serve passers-by and entrench values of solidarity and community giving.
On the international front, the campaign expands its humanitarian reach through sustainable water-provision projects in areas suffering from drought and water scarcity, by drilling wells and securing water tanks and coolers, contributing to the stability of local communities and enhancing dignified living conditions for millions of beneficiaries.
Engineer Adel Al Suwaidi, board member and treasurer of the association, said that launching the campaign in partnership with Dubai Islamic Bank reflects the depth of an institutional partnership aimed at serving people wherever they are, praising the bank's continuous support for the journey of charitable and humanitarian work.
He affirmed that the campaign embodies the association's vision of preserving human dignity and protecting people's health from the growing climatic repercussions, amid the record-high temperatures and mounting environmental challenges the world is witnessing, noting that providing basic life necessities to the most needy represents a humanitarian priority and a shared social responsibility.
He added that the contributions of donors, partners, and goodwill ambassadors represent the fundamental pillar of the success of the humanitarian initiatives carried out by the association, calling on individuals and institutions in the community to continue supporting the campaign's projects, thereby reinforcing values of compassion and solidarity and reflecting the UAE's bright image as a global model in generosity and humanitarian work.
He noted that every contribution made through the campaign represents genuine support for the beneficiary groups and a message of human solidarity that alleviates the suffering of those in need, helping to deliver the impact of goodness to those who deserve it, both inside and outside the country.
