Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, has congratulated the wise leadership, the people of the United Arab Emirates, and the Islamic nation on the occasion of the new Hijri year 1446, praying to God that it be a year bearing goodness, blessings, and peace, in which homelands flourish.
In a post marking the occasion, His Highness said: "On the occasion of the new Hijri year, we extend our highest congratulations and blessings to our wise leadership, the people of the United Arab Emirates, and the Islamic nation, praying to God that it be a year bearing goodness, blessings, and peace, a year in which homelands flourish and the values of goodness, tolerance, and giving are firmly established."
