Brigadier General Dr. Rashid Mohammed Bursheid, Director of the Saif bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences, visited the 24th batch of national service conscripts at the Academy's Police Rehabilitation Department in Al Ain, with the aim of following up on the progress of training and specialised programmes and reviewing the readiness and qualification levels of the conscripts, in a bid to enhance their capabilities and raise their efficiency in support of the security work system.
He was received by Colonel Dr. Ali Khamis Al Yamahi, Acting Director of the Police Rehabilitation Department, and a number of officers. During the visit, he reviewed the stages of specialised training being carried out by the national service conscripts in accordance with a studied training plan designed to achieve the objectives of the national service programme — reinforcing national values, developing human resources, and preparing a generation capable of shouldering responsibility, facing challenges, and contributing to the march of national development and community service.
He stressed the importance of encouraging national service conscripts and boosting their morale, enhancing their military capabilities and practical skills, and urging them to commit to seriousness and discipline and to make full use of the educational and training programmes.
