A delegation from the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, led by His Excellency Adviser Youssef Saeed Al Abri, Under-Secretary of the Judicial Department, met with Berik Asilov, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the Kazakhstani capital Astana, to discuss ways of strengthening judicial cooperation and exchanging expertise in the use of smart technologies to develop the judicial system.
Adviser Youssef Al Abri affirmed that the visit comes in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the State, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, to consolidate strategic partnerships and learn from the best global practices of various judicial authorities, thereby contributing to the advancement of the institutional performance of the justice system.
During the visit, the department's delegation was briefed on the technical systems adopted by the Prosecutor General's Office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which include the criminal digital system, an integrated digital services package for high-efficiency task management, as well as artificial intelligence applications and innovative solutions used in prosecutorial investigations. The delegation also learned about the electronic interconnection system used in enforcement operations, which ensures rapid information exchange and procedural integration.
The delegation's tour included a visit to the Ministry of Justice, where areas of mutual cooperation were reviewed, along with the ministry's most prominent judicial projects and initiatives. Discussions were held on ways to benefit from innovative solutions and applications in order to advance judicial and legal services.
