The Outer Districts Police Directorate of the Forensic Security Sector at Abu Dhabi Police, in cooperation with Seha and Shory, organised a blood donation initiative at Khalifa Police Station, as part of its ongoing efforts to promote social responsibility, entrench a culture of voluntary work, and support blood banks in ways that contribute to saving the lives of patients and the injured.

Brigadier Salem Adha Al Baqmi, Director of the Outer Districts Police Directorate, affirmed that the initiative embodies Abu Dhabi Police's commitment to its humanitarian and community role, and its keenness to entrench the values of giving and volunteering among its members and the public, reflecting its approach to supporting national initiatives that contribute to enhancing quality of life.

He noted that blood donation is one of the noblest forms of humanitarian giving, given its direct impact on saving lives, and expressed appreciation for the strong participation from attendees and the constructive cooperation with strategic partners and health authorities in making the initiative a success.

Brigadier Hamad Khalfan Al Sheen, Deputy Director of the Outer Districts Police Directorate for Police Stations Affairs and Head of the Events and Partnerships Team, explained that the initiative is part of a series of community programmes and initiatives implemented by the directorate to raise awareness of the importance of blood donation, promote a culture of volunteerism and social responsibility, and strengthen positive partnerships with various segments of society.
