Lieutenant General His Highness Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, chaired the Police Leadership Council meeting at the Ministry of Interior.
The council reviewed the priorities for the next phase of developing the security system, in line with the UAE government's direction towards adopting Agentic AI models, and to enhance operational efficiency, service quality, and the readiness of police work for the future.
The council discussed the results of the strategic indicators for the first quarter of 2026, as well as the targets and operational plans for the police sectors, in support of the ongoing development journey and raising institutional performance efficiency.
The council affirmed, during the meeting, its commitment to continuing to consolidate a proactive and smart policing system that reinforces the UAE's leadership in security and safety, and keeps pace with its ambitions towards a future driven by knowledge and advanced technology.
