Q Mobility has announced the activation of a smart parking system at Mushrif Mall in Abu Dhabi, in partnership with Line Investment, with the aim of enhancing the visitor experience and deploying advanced digital solutions in parking management.
The system enables automatic payment of parking fees through the user's wallet in the "Darb" app. The paid smart parking system comes into effect today, as part of Q Mobility's strategy to expand the application of the system across vital locations and key destinations in the emirate, supporting the development of an advanced digital infrastructure that contributes to improving mobility efficiency and reinforcing the concept of smart cities.
The paid smart parking system relies on a sophisticated technology platform powered by artificial intelligence and automatic vehicle licence plate recognition, whereby the parking duration is calculated automatically upon a vehicle's entry into the car park.
Fees are then calculated and deducted directly from the "Darb" wallet upon exit, with no need to send text messages or use payment machines, providing a seamless and fully integrated digital experience that enhances user convenience and elevates the quality of services offered to them.
