Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters has graduated 20 members from the Ministry of Defence, Abu Dhabi Police, and the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, following their completion of the "Foundational Motorcycle" course, organised by the Traffic Training Branch in Al Ain at the Criminal Justice Institute, within the Department of Police and Security Institutes at Saif bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences.

Colonel Abdulkarim Khalifa Al Hamadi, Acting Director of the Department of Police and Security Institutes, affirmed Abu Dhabi Police's commitment to developing national competencies and raising the readiness of security personnel through the implementation of advanced specialised training programmes aligned with the best modern policing practices, contributing to the enhancement of field performance efficiency in support of Abu Dhabi Police's strategic priorities of "readiness and preparedness" and the achievement of community security and safety.

He explained that the course forms part of the continuous training system implemented by Abu Dhabi Police to qualify personnel and equip them with the specialised skills and knowledge necessary to carry out their duties efficiently and competently, thereby enhancing their ability to handle various field situations in accordance with the highest professional standards.

Mohammed Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director of the Traffic Training Branch in Al Ain, noted that the training programme included theoretical lectures and specialised practical applications in motorcycle riding skills and handling various field conditions, alongside training exercises focused on enhancing traffic safety, raising the level of rapid response, and developing recruits' capabilities in dealing with different security situations. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the graduates were honoured and presented with course completion certificates.
