Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, has awarded Antoine Delcourt, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to the United Arab Emirates, the Order of Independence, First Class, on the occasion of the conclusion of his term as his country's ambassador to the UAE, in recognition of the efforts he exerted during his tenure, which contributed to developing and strengthening relations between the two friendly countries across all fields.
Her Excellency Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State, presented Delcourt with the decoration during a meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters, where she affirmed the UAE's commitment to enhancing its relations with the Kingdom of Belgium in various fields.
Her Excellency extended her best wishes to the ambassador for success in his future work, commending his role in strengthening the distinguished relations between the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Belgium.
For his part, Ambassador Delcourt expressed his gratitude and appreciation to Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, praising the level of progress witnessed in relations between the two countries, and extended his thanks to all parties for the cooperation he encountered, which had a positive impact on the success of his mission in the country.
