Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received a phone call from His Excellency Nabil Fahmy, Secretary-General of the Arab League, during which Sheikh Abdullah congratulated him on assuming his duties as Secretary-General of the League, expressing his wishes for His Excellency's success and sound judgement.
The two sides also discussed the overall developments and latest regional situations, and reviewed ways to strengthen regional and international efforts to achieve lasting stability and sustainable peace in the region.
