Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed the latest regional developments and their implications for the security and stability of the region during a phone call with Dr. Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Egyptians Abroad of the sisterly Arab Republic of Egypt.

The two sides reviewed regional and international efforts to consolidate security and stability in the Middle East in a manner that meets the aspirations of its peoples for development and prosperity.

The phone call also addressed the firm brotherly relations between the two sisterly countries. Sheikh Abdullah praised the distinguished results and honourable performance of the Egyptian national football team during its participation in the 2026 FIFA World Cup, currently being held in the United States of America, Mexico, and Canada.
