His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and General Security in Dubai and Chairman of the Federal Police Leadership Council, presided over the Council's fourth meeting of 2026, attended by police commanders, senior officers, and officials from the Ministry of Interior and general police commands, at the Police Officers' Club in Dubai.

During the meeting, the Council reviewed a number of presentations, security reports, and policies related to security and operational performance at the national level, within the framework of enhancing the efficiency of the security system and supporting its strategic targets.

The Council discussed the findings of the road accident fatality rate index per 100,000 population for the first half of 2026, and was briefed on the United Arab Emirates government's main direction regarding the AI assistant project, alongside a discussion of policies related to the security dimension and mechanisms for supporting their implementation.

On the sidelines of the meeting, an introductory workshop entitled "AI Assistant Skills" was held, supervised by the General Directorate of Competency Development at the Ministry of Interior, and in coordination with Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence and G42, a global leader in artificial intelligence and cloud computing, with the aim of enhancing security leaders' knowledge of AI skills and applications and enabling them to employ them in developing institutional performance and supporting the security work system.
