The UAE also expressed its full solidarity with the brotherly Syrian Arab Republic and its endorsement of the measures taken by Syrian security services in dismantling cells affiliated with the terrorist organisation ISIS, which were involved in assassination crimes, looting, and financing the terrorist organisation, and in the arrest of one of its prominent leaders and a number of its members.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed, in a statement, the UAE's full support for all measures taken by the Syrian Arab Republic to protect its security and sovereignty, preserve its stability and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, and safeguard its national achievements, commending the efficiency and vigilance of the Syrian security services that succeeded in neutralising these cells and uncovering their members.
