Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior, witnessed a ceremony honouring the organising teams of the Legal and Professional Capacity Development Project for employees of penal and correctional institutions, held in the presence of Brigadier General Dr Rashid Ali Al Nuaimi, Director General of Police Judiciary, and a number of senior officers and officials. The ceremony was held in recognition of their distinguished efforts in implementing a qualitative project that reflects the Ministry's orientations towards optimal investment in human capital, capacity development, and the enhancement of institutional performance efficiency.

Brigadier General Dr Rashid Ali Al Nuaimi affirmed in his address during the ceremony that the project represents one of the strategic initiatives supporting institutional work, and reflects the Ministry of Interior's approach to empowering and qualifying national cadres, as they are the fundamental pillar for achieving institutional excellence, enhancing performance quality, and supporting the journey of sustainable development.

He noted that the Ministry places human capital development at the forefront of its strategic priorities, stemming from its belief that institutional leadership rests on cadres who possess legal and professional knowledge, keep pace with changes, and carry out their duties with efficiency and professionalism in accordance with the best professional practices.

The Legal and Professional Capacity Development Project is one of the qualitative initiatives that contribute to enhancing legal awareness, raising the efficiency of employees in penal and correctional institutions, and entrenching best institutional practices, in a manner that supports the Ministry of Interior's targets and keeps pace with its future aspirations of building a more efficient and sustainable work system.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior honoured the organising teams of the project in appreciation of their contributions to its success, and for the results they achieved that reflect the integration of efforts and a team spirit, and contribute to supporting the Ministry's targets in capacity building and enhancing institutional performance efficiency.
