Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, discussed the full range of regional developments during phone calls with a number of foreign ministers from brotherly and friendly nations.
His Highness held telephone talks with His Excellency Sheikh Jarah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Foreign Minister of Kuwait; His Excellency Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman; His Excellency Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain; and Her Excellency Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom.
The calls covered discussions of the current situation in the Middle East and the efforts being made to achieve stability and lasting peace in the region, in a manner that would bring good and prosperity to its peoples.
During the two phone calls with Sheikh Jarah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah and Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, His Highness expressed his strong condemnation of the renewed aggressive Iranian attacks that targeted Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain with missiles and drones.
His Highness affirmed the United Arab Emirates' full solidarity with the brotherly State of Kuwait and the brotherly Kingdom of Bahrain, and its support for all measures that would preserve their security and stability, stressing that the security of Kuwait and the security of Bahrain are an inseparable part of the security of the United Arab Emirates and the Arab Gulf states.
The phone calls also covered a number of topics and issues of mutual interest.
