His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has congratulated US President Donald Trump and the American people on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America.

His Highness wrote on his account on the platform X: "On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States of America, we congratulate His Excellency President Donald Trump, and we congratulate the friendly American people, on this historic occasion."

He added: "Over two and a half centuries, the United States has been an influential partner in the global economy, science, and innovation. We look forward to distinguished relations with the United States that serve the interests of our two peoples, and contribute to consolidating peace, stability, and prosperity."
